Among the four rooms of the Himemiya-goten, this is a fifteen-tatami mat room located in the northwest. It features a total of sixteen fusuma sliding doors: four each on the east, west, south, and north sides. These fusuma depict a continuous scene titled “Shiki-sōka” (Flowers of the Four Seasons), created by Mori Gishō.
