Dobashi, Earthen Bridge

The curved earthen bridge over the stream on the east side of the Otshunegoten has a roadbed of beaten plaster and soil, with embankments covered in cedar moss at both ends. The use of natural materials helps it blend seamlessly into the Gonaitei Inner Garden, which features streams, rock arrangements, and trees. This natural integration allows the bridge to display different expressions with the changing seasons.
