This lantern shape is called the Yuki-mi gata (snow viewing)Type. It was made of ceramic and presented by Tadayoshi Okubo, the tenth lord of the Odawara domain during the second succession of the Okubo family. It is said to have been crafted by Rokubei Kiyomizu.
