A small Yukimi-gata (snow viewing) ornamental lantern. In the early Meiji period, it was depicted on a garden stone opposite the Osuzumi-sho in the Kyoto Gosho Gonaitei Ezu (Kyoto Imperial Palace Inner Garden Map).
