The Ni-no-ma (Second Room) is located to the west of the Ichi-no-ma (First Room) and to the north of the San-no-ma (Third Room). The interior is adorned with a total of fifteen panels, including fourteen sliding doors (fusuma) and one fixed wall panel, featuring Shiki Sansui "Landscapes of the Four Seasons" painted by Nakajima Kayō. Beginning with the spring scenery positioned on the eastern side, the seasonal transitions unfold in a counterclockwise direction, allowing viewers to experience the passage of time through nature.
